Ramping up the miles for the Hot Chocolate 15K Charlotte

I am getting super excited about this weekends Hot Chocolate 15K! Despite having some weird leg issues I got in a run each day!  I feel certain my leg troubles are the result of simply over working them. 

Lately I have been running all the miles and then staying up on my feet all day and night between work and then working on our house!

I really want to be sure to protect my legs so I did decide to scale back a bit taking my runs easier than normal and scaling back mileage over the weekend.

Run Streak Day 10, Thursday 1/10, with three miles! Taking it easy on my legs. 



On Friday 1/11 I got in a three mile run, it was 23 degrees and this was my run streak day 11! 




Saturday 1/12 I had planned on 19 miles but my legs had me worried and so I decided on a 10 mile run. 



On Sunday we had some winter weather so I waited to run until 11! We had a super cute runner with us this time! Pushing a jogging stroller is no joke! I admire all you mother runners who do that on the daily!



Despite having an off week and going easy I wanted to keep the "Run Every Day January" streak alive and so I did! 

I also continued the "Plank Every Day" Challenge and finished my runs strong with a plank! 





I am feeling a bit better and my swelling has subsided. I plan to have a normal week this coming week and hope to have an awesome race weekend!!
