Ok so if you have been following along on my journey you know that I am a big Nunn girl lol! Like I have to have it or I can not run well.

Disclaimer: I received free Nuun Immunity as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out to review find and write race reviews!

I actually went on a hunt for Lemon Lime Nuun before my marathon!! Special thanks to Fleet Feet Asheville for saving the day!!

I love Nuun for the electrolytes that I get. I historically got terrible leg cramps when running and it's in my non professional opinion that being dehydrated and not replenishing my electrolytes well was the number 1 culprit! Since I have been using Nuun in my water that I carry for long runs my major cramps have subsided.

I was super excited to receive two bottles of Nuun Immunity to try out! I am all about staying well for the long run (pun intended).

I have been sipping on Nuun Immunity now ever since I received it and I am in love! Nuun Immunity is packed full of anti-inflammatories like turmeric & ginger and my favorite immunity supporters elderberry & echinacea! I think this is a must as we approach cold and flu season! Especially since I am training for a Fall Trail Marathon! I need to stay well so I can get in all my needed runs and so that I can perform to the best of my ability at the race!

I have tried out both Blueberry Tangerine and Orange Citrus and I am not sure which is my favorite. They both are yummy!

Through the end of October you can get 20% off Nuun using code HYDRATEBIBPRO I recomend you give it a try!
*Note this code will only work on our US webstore and not on

Scooby Dooby Doo Where Are You?

We do not know where he is for sure but LeRoy and I are on Team Scooby and are on the run to find out!!

Disclaimer: I received free entry to the Scooby-Doo Run Series as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out to review find and write race reviews!

Scooby Doo is hosting a Doo Good 5K this month as a virtual race for the first time ever and LeRoy and I signed right up!! Jinkies! It's our first Virtual Run too!

I have never done a virtual race before! I do know lots of people who have. Keeping races on your calendar is always a great way to stay motivated and accountable!

As soon as LeRoy was a little bigger pup and the weather warmed up he began going with me on morning walks.

He LOVES getting to see his puppy girl that also comes!!

For the most part, he runs a little, then wants to be carried, then runs some more, then walks a bit, then wants to be carried, then wants back down to run some more and at the end he likes to lay in the dew grass for a cool down stretch lol!!

For our trip to the beach at the end of July I got him a stroller. Mainly because I knew he'd want to go out with me for my runs but I didn't want him to get eaten by an alligator!!! Yikes!

I mean they are the real deal!!!

He does so good in the jogging stroller but he prefers to be paws to the ground running!

He has so much spunk but his little legs just only let him go so far! We have been doing several training runs and our plan is to take the jogger so he can run some and ride some while we run it!

We actually signed up to run the Challenge Series so we will complete the Doo Good 5K this month and the Scoobtober Run in October!

Not only do I get a cute shirt and race medals but LeRoy gets two super cute race bananas and little puppy medals!!!

Must Love Trails

Trail Marathon Training is as you know underway. I am starting to worry a little that I do not have a good enough plan. I have let the time slip away a bit and not gotten serious about getting those long trail runs in!

I re-worked my plan a bit and I think it will be ok. I have five weeks until the Triple Lakes 40K and I can ramp up hopefully in that time. I am already in half marathon condition I just need to get in a few longer runs and keep running through the week.

I got in a great 13 miler on Labor Day! Two friends and I ran through town and hit the local greenway then finished back in town. We meet up with two other friends half way for a few of our miles too!

Last Saturday we set to run about 15 mile on the trails near the lake.

“There is always an adventure waiting in the woods.”

We got in 15 miles and nobody fell!!! Woot Woot!

As we were running on mountain bike trials we encountered several bikers as we headed later into the morning. As one guy passed he said something to us. We were a little unsure if he said bear or deer ahead... We kind hoped he said beer lol!!

A little further in we spotted two young deer very close to us in the woods. We stood and watched a while.

A few steps further we saw what looked like bear scat... Oh my!

You know you wanted to see it.... LOL! I just had to share, sorry not sorry lol!

I was stung by a bee!! First time in a long time! Ouch!! My Buff totally saved the day!! RIP Bee...

There was a random plastic chair deep in the woods... What does this even mean???

The beauty of the trail is one of my all time favorite things but today’s run was a tough one for me!! I was on the struggle bus in a bad way 🚌 I probably should’ve taken my inhaler but I forgot it at home... Next time I will do better.

Despite all that when can we do it again???

The accomplishment of doing something that feels hard is quite rewarding!!

We are watching the weather for this coming weekend. Hurricane Florance may put a kink in our plan we will see...

Sending Love and Light to everyone living in the path of Hurricane Florence and everyone impacted by this storm. Stay safe! You are in my prayers!
