Week 3 of Run for God Couch to 5K came and went! Whew! This program is flying by!
We were a little worried about the weather, it looked like rain, the radar showed storms.
The skies held long enough for us to knock out our group run!
This week we talked about Injuries and Injury prevention and that is so so important as you are starting your training plan. We had a special guest speaker from our local hospital to talk with our group and he was a wealth of information!
The running plan for week three is as follows:
Start with a brisk 5-minute warm-up walk. Then alternate 90 seconds of jogging and 2 minutes of walking for 20 minutes. Follow that with a 5-minute cool-down walk.
Total Workout = 30 Minutes
Week 3 will finish up on Sunday 10/2/16 and we will move right into week 4!
