Warrior Creek, NC

We checked out a great campground this past weekend!!

Warrior Creek Campground is located in the Yadkin River Valley in Boomer, NC.

Along W. Kerr Scott Lake.

The campsites all have a spacious tent pad with fire ring, grill, and picnic table. There are 61 campsites and two group sites. All have electric and water available. There are also toilets centrally located near the campsites.

The drive to the campground is beautiful, weaving through the countryside in the fall is so peaceful.

There is so much to do at Warrior Creek. There are 17 miles of hiking and biking trails that are noted as one of the top mountain bike trial systems in the US by the International Mountain Biking Association. There is also swimming, boating, fishing, swimming, and so much more.

While there we saw deer during the day and heard the howls of coyote at night.

We enjoyed an amazing campfire at night.

And watched it spark then dwindle from inside the tent as we went to sleep :)

The morning was beautiful, we walked around and found all sorts of beauty tucked within the woods.

We are already planning a return trip! Next time we will take our kayaks too! Biking, trail running, hiking, kayaking AND camping!!! This is the perfect place for us!! We can't wait to go back!
